We had a fun night stampin’ it away and I just had to show you all what one of my customers – Julie – created this evening. She was looking through all of my convention trades and found the one on the left that she really liked. I do not own the scallop oval Bigz Die so we worked together and came up with the card on the right using the new Framelits, Labels Collection.
Supplies:
Sizzix Big Shot
Framelits, Labels Collection
Vintage Wallpaper
NIght of Navy and Very Vanilla Cardstock
Soft Suede and Night of Navy Classic Ink Pads

Kids Camp Travel Game Tin
April 19, 2012 at 5:34 pm (Announcements, Events)
Here are the close-up pictures of the main project at the kids camp a week ago. I saw the idea for just the tic tac toe portion on pinterest using an altoids tin, but I wanted to step it up a notch. We used more like CD sized tins. On the lid is the tic tac toe portion with magnetic board chips. On the bottom of the tin I added pictures of all of the US license plates. We covered that up with clear contact paper. When they are on a road trip, they can play the license plate game and cross off ones that they see with their dry-erase marker. I also included a small sponge so that they could
clear their game board.
Supplies:
CD Tins
Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, Whisper White, Basic Black and Baja Breeze Card Stock
Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper
Travel Log Stamp Set
Sizzix Big Shot
Naturally Serif Sizzlits Decorate Strip Dies
Serif Essentials Alphabet Bigz Dies (used to put their initial on the front)
Poppy Parade, Wild Wasabi and Baja Breeze Markers
Basic Black Ink Pad
1 ¼” Square Punch
½” Circle Punch
Decorative Label Punch

Upcoming Menu Board Class this Thursday – Now Save $8!
August 14, 2011 at 2:29 pm (Events)
How many times have you heard “What’s for dinner mom?” or do you wish you could get into a menu planning routine. Well come create some hom decor that will help you with both of these issues.
PRICE REDUCTION….$17.00 The minute I saw this idea, my mind went from the chipboard they had it displayed on to vintage metal trays. I found a great deal on the trays so I am able to reduce the price from $25 to $17. With this concept, you could use a magnet to attach a new recipe you want to try. The days of the week are our chalkboard decor elements that easily wipe off and can be used again and again. You can either hang this or place it on a nice easel.

Return to Stamping – June Stamp-A-Stack Preview
May 30, 2011 at 4:00 pm (Announcements, Card Projects, Events)
I know, I know, I have been more than absent this month from blogging and classes. I have to admit I had all I could do to keep up with all of the end of the year activities at work for my full-time job and the preparation and follow-through time needed for Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo.
I do have my June classes posted on my website at http://stampinwithheidi.stampinup.net so be sure to check them out.
In the mean time, this is one of the cards we will be doing at the Stamp-A-Stack on Wednesday night from 7:00-9:00 pm.
Stampin’ Up did a great job of adding some new sets in the summer occasions catalog that are not only fun for us to use but are perfect for the men in our lives. This card can be used for Father’s Day, Birthday’s, Thinking of You….just about anything really! I am looking forward to spending some time with the group that is already coming on Wednesday and would love to see all of you too!
