Back To Stamping after completing an Ironman!

Ironman TV

Greetings everyone! I hope you all have had a great summer and are ready to get back to more stamping and scrapbooking now that fall is starting to settle in!

I need to send out a quick apology to all of my customers and down-line! A year ago I did something crazy and signed up for my first every Ironman which consists of swimming 2.4 miles, biking 112 and running 26.2. Doing all of those things in one day require a significant amount of training each week and as a result, I had to let some things go and that was the typical attention to my Stampin’ Up! business, my customers and my down-line. Although I managed to still hold classes, clubs and meetings, it wasn’t as well organized as I would have liked. I also wasn’t as quick with my customer follow-up as I would have liked. For that I am sorry! But, I crossed that finish line on Sunday and now some of the extra hours I put into training so that I could finish a milestone event can be re-directed back to my business. I may just need a few more days of good sleep and recovery and I will be back and ready to go! Join me for my next September Stamp-A-Stack on Tuesday, September 22 or join our Saturday Stamp Club that is starting on Saturday, September 26. We still have a few seats available in the club and would love to have you join us!  We also have our next THE Stampin’ Event (not to miss) on November 21.  Go to http://www.thestampinevent.com to sign up!

(Hurry!  Buy-back period ends 3/31/15)

Paper Pumpkin…used other than originally intended

I love those Paper Pumpkins! Nothing like having the supplies all ready to go and ready to assemble. But, every once in awhile I receive one that doesn’t quite trip my trigger. Well, there is a fix to that. Hundreds of people are posting pictures of alternative creations they have made with the supplies…or additional projects they have made with the left-over supplies. That is one thing that I really love is that there are always some extra pieces for additional projects.

I know for those of you who do not have kids or grand-kids you were a little stumped with the Pinwheel project.  Super Cute and could also be made into a cute centerpiece for the summer months, but check out the card that was displayed at leadership.  Just flatten that pinwheel and now you have a birthday or celebratory card!

Here are a few other pics of kits used in alternative ways:

Don’t forget the Thanksgiving treat boxes turned Christmas Trees for the advent Calendar in one of my previous posts!

If you haven’t seen some of the recent Paper Pumpkins, you may not know that the quality AND the quantity has improved significantly. I did have a chance to get a sneak peak at the February and March kits and they are super cute and of significant quantities!  Interested in subscribing?  Go to paperpumpkin.com and select me as you demonstrator to sign up.

December Card Club Cards

I had a lot of fun designing this months card club cards.  I really should share these more often here, but time gets away from me sometimes!  If you are interested in getting together with a group of stampers at my house once a month, this is a great opportunity for you!  Not only do you get to use new products and get new ideas, you will also receive free merchandise the month you are the “host”.  But the best part, you don’t have to clean your house because you come to mine!  We currently have people interested in starting a weeknight club so contact me if you are interested!

Festival of TreesI love the vintage look of this card and it was so easy to put together using our Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack!

Wondrous WreathAnother vintage looking card.  The fun part was adding texture to the bird using an embossing folder!

Bright and BeautifulThis one was a 3-D card.
